About us
Freshrex Group’s fish industry, located in Pärnu, processes fresh fish and manufactures various fish products.
Our company, founded in 1998, has consistently expanded its assortment of options, increased sales volume, and found new markets for Estonian fish products.
Freshrex mainly produces for exports. Our main markets and partners are in Australia, England, Germany, and Finland.
The high quality of our finished product is ensured by our storage methods for both our raw materials and finished product. Freshrex boasts modern production lines, manned by our dedicated and professionally-trained employees.
Product RANGE
Our products
Freshrex’s product range is based on the main catches in the West and North Seas, such as herring, sprat, roach, squid, bream, perch, pikeperch, herring, and trout. We accommodate our consumer demand by providing canned, preserved, and steak options.
As diligent manufacturers, we are always prepared to meet our customer needs, and provide a desired combination of format, flavor, and packaging.
In addition to different fish species, Freshrex’s product range is also diversified by different marinades: a separate assortment consists of minced fish meat and fish egg products.
Freshrex products are “ready to eat!” No additional preparation is necessary: Just serve, and enjoy!

Manufacturing process
The HACCP quality control system is implemented in our production process. Freshrex is recognized by the Agricultural and Food Board, and has all of the necessary permits for handling fishery products.
Freshrex is also certified and recognized by various international organizations, such as MSC, IFS, and Kosher.
In 2022, the Freshrex Group began a transition to self-produced green energy. In the future, the electricity supply for the Freshrex production process will be provided by an up-and-coming solar power plant. The plant is currently under construction, and will boast a total capacity of 490 kWh.
